Taylor Swift is getting ready to release her tenth studio album, Midnights. The singer has disclosed a lot of information about the upcoming launch that fans are sure to be interested in, including track titles and additional details on the album’s various editions.

“I had sort of made up my mind that if you were going to be this generous and give us this, I thought it might be a fun moment to tell you that my brand-new album comes out Oct. 21st,” Swift said in her speech before teasing that she would be releasing more details at midnight.

“Midnights, the stories of 13 sleepless nights scattered throughout my life, will be out Oct. 21. Meet me at midnight,” she added.

What is Midnights album about?

Swift described the album as a “collection of music written late at night, a journey through terrors and sweet dreams. For all of us who have tossed and turned and decided to keep the lanterns lit and go searching, hoping that when the clock strikes twelve… we’ll meet ourselves,” she wrote online.

How many songs are there on Midnights album?

Swift revealed that the album will include 13 (which also happens to be her lucky number) original songs, but she did not reveal the song titles yet.

Target will also sell a deluxe edition of the album, which will include three new tracks.

What is the cover of the upcoming album?

Swift revealed the official cover art for her new album, which features her wearing sparkling blue eyeshadow as she strikes a lighter. 

Will the album feature any collaborations?

Swift affirmed in a video posted online that she and producer Jack Antonoff worked together on the new album, as they were seen together in the studio.

Swift’s newly announced album has already sparked a lot of rumour, including possible collaborations. 

Recently, a potential leaked track from Swift’s upcoming album became viral on social media, sparking speculation that she would collaborate with Stevie Nicks, Lana Del Rey, and The 1975.

However, 1975 frontman Matty Healy conclusively disproved the rumours, saying, “I would love that! But unfortunately FAKE NEWS :)”
