With the buzz surrounding the much-anticipated 2022 film ‘The Batman’ rising, filmmakers have recently been teasing glimpses of the Robert Pattinson starrer.

A fiery poster of the film has been unveiled, leaving fans excited and overwhelmed with the film’s close release.

The poster, shared by Warner Bros India on Instagram, shows lead characters of the film, including Robert Pattinson, as Batman and Bruce Wayne, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, and Paul Dano as The Riddler.

The poster displays the cast in a fiery setup and reads “Unmask the truth” on top. The poster was uploaded a day ago and has garnered over 16,000 likes and multiple comments. The caption reads, “Vengeance will descend on Gotham. #TheBatman”.

The caption also includes the release date of the film. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on March 4 and will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Many social media users took to comments to express their anticipation. One user wrote, “Can’t wait anymore for Vengeance”. Another user added, “So excited!”.

Some users also expressed their disappointment over the film not being dubbed in other languages such as Malayalam and Punjabi.

The upcoming film revolves around Bruce Wayne in his fight against crimes in Gotham city. The character, played by Robert Pattinson, will be backed by other supporting characters and villains, including Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Gil Colson, Carmine Falcone, Bella Real, Alfred Pennyworth and Officer Stanley Merkel.

In October 2021, Warner Bros had unveiled the first trailer of the film, sharing a glimpse of the dark caped hero. The 2 minute 38 seconds long trailer starts off with the police arresting an anonymous young man. Moments later, Pattinson is seen as Batman, fighting crime in the eerie city of Gotham. The trailer is a gripping ride, filled with revenge, action sequences, and car chases.

The film is written and directed by Matt Reeves.

Reeves has directed several hits, including ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ and ‘Cloverfield’.
