Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh will be seen making his
television debut with an upcoming trivia-based game show titled ‘The Big
Picture’. The show has become a global phenomenon since its first edition was
released in Israel. The game was originally developed by magician and creator Nimrod
Harel.

India will be following in the footsteps of Netherlands,
Turkey, Portugal and Thailand; all of whom have made their own domestic version
of the show. It is believed to have the potential of revolutionizing reality television.

The show has been picked up by Colors TV in India and the
interested viewers will be able to watch it from October 16 on every weekend (Saturday
and Sunday) at 8 PM. It will also be available on Voot and Jio TV.

A promo for ‘The Big Picture’ was uploaded on the official
Instagram handle of Colors TV with the caption, “Ranveer ke saath The Big Picture ka anokha quiz show hoga ekdum jhakaas,
jab sapne bharengey ek nayi udaan. Dekhiye The Big Picture, ek anokha quiz show, 16th
October se, Sat-Sun, raat 8 baje, sirf #Colors par.”

In the video Ranveer Singh can be seen gifting the first
ever contestant of the game show a brand new pair of white sneakers.

Another promo shows the star attempting to play the game
himself and suffering. He blurts out several answers and then goes on to proclaim
himself as the ‘husband of the century’.

Ranveer will be seen making an energetic entry on the stage with
the hit song ‘Malhari’ from his film Bajirao Mastani playing in the background.

The actor will also be engaging in casual conversation with
Karishma Toor, the first contestant, a police constable who hails from Haryana.
The two talk about her family and Toor’s love for running.

The Big Picture will be replacing Dance Deewane 3 hosted by
Madhuri Dixit, Tushar Kalia and Dharmesh Yelande set to come to an end on
October 10.

India’s first ever virtual based quiz show is expected to be
a hit.
