Plot:
The impending series takes its inspiration from Victor LaValle’s chilling narrative, which delves into the life of Apollo Kagwa, a secondhand book merchant, and the mysterious vanishing of his father. Now a grown man and a father himself, Apollo finds himself tormented by reawakened childhood nightmares. Meanwhile, his wife Emma’s unusual actions initially seem to be attributed to postpartum depression, but Apollo swiftly grasps that the scope of these occurrences far exceeds anything he could have envisioned.
