British-American
television miniseries The English premiered on Amazon Prime Video on Friday,
November 11. Directed by Hugo Blick, the show stars Emily Blunt, Chaske
Spencer, and Tom Hughes in lead roles.
The 6-episode
series follows an aristocratic Englishwoman, Lady Cornelia Locke, who travels
to the West in 1890, looking for revenge for the death of her son. She meets an
ex-cavalry scout of the Pawnee Nation, Eli Whipp, but neither of them is aware
of their shared past.

psychological thriller stars Emily Blunt as Rachel Watson, an unemployed divorcee,
who aimlessly rides a train into New York City every day, idealizing Megan and
Scott, a couple who are neighbours to Tom, Rachel’s ex-husband. When Megan suddenly goes missing, Watson is
held as one of the suspects. Tom’s present wife Anna, Rachel, and Megan, all
get bound forever, by the common story they share.
The Devil Wears Prada
The Devil Wears
Prada is a 2006 cult comedy-drama starring Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and
Emily Blunt in lead roles. The story follows the journey of Andy (played by
Hathaway), an aspiring journalist, who comes to New York in search of a job and
gets hired as the junior personal assistant of Miranda Priestly, the editor-in-chief
of a fashion magazine. Blunt plays the role of Emily Charlton, Priestly’s
senior assistant. While Emily gets obsessed with the thought of attending the
Paris Fashion Week, she gets gradually outperformed by Andy.

Sicario
Sicario (Spanish
for hitman) is a 2015 action thriller directed by Canadian filmmaker Dennis Villeneuve.
The film stars Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin, and Benicio del Toro in lead roles. It
follows the story of a principled FBI agent, Kate Macer, who is appointed by a Government
task force on a mission to bring down the leader of a powerful Mexican drug
cartel that operates between the US and Mexico. During the mission, Macer is
exposed to harsh realities and secrets.
Edge of Tomorrow
Live Die Repeat:
Edge of Tomorrow is a 2014 sci-fi action film starring Emily Blunt and Tom
Cruise in lead roles. Set in future Europe, Major William Cage (played by Cruise)
must save the Earth and the human race from an alien species called Mimics that
have conquered most of Continental Europe. Cage, who possesses the ability to relieve
the same day over and over again, takes the help of Sergeant Rita Vrataski (played
by Blunt) to save the world.

A Quiet Place
This 2018 post-apocalyptic
horror film stars John Krasinski and Emily Blunt in lead roles. The plot revolves
around Lee and Evelyn Abbott, and their four children who must live in silence in
order to survive in a world where most humans have been killed by blind but noise-sensitive
creatures. They are forced to communicate in sign language to save themselves
from the aliens’ acute sense of hearing.
