Actor Vijay Sethupathi took to his social media to share the first two posters of his forthcoming film ‘Viduthalai’. Directed by Vetri Maaran, the first-look posters feature lead actors Soori and Sethupathi as a police officer and ‘mentor’ respectively.

The film has been produced by RS Infotainment and has music composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja.

The shooting of ‘Viduthalai’ is taking place in the forests of Sathyamangalam, Tamil Nadu and the film might release later this year or early 2022.

It is said that for the shooting of the film, the lead stars stayed along with the tribal people with no cell phones or internet.

The film is said to be based on a short story, which was written by Jeyamohan.
