Actor Jeffrey Pierce has stated that the scripts for the series are “breathtaking” and some of the best he%u2019s ever seen in terms of detail.

 Pierce gave a small insight into his involvement with the upcoming show while talking on the To All The Films We Judged Before the podcast: “I%u2019ve read a couple of the scripts and they are breathtaking, every piece of tone and texture of the game exists in the writing and then it%u2019s a hundred times more because you get to do so much more [because] it%u2019s all cinematic it%u2019s not at all gameplay.”

He further went deeper and said that they were the best scripts he%u2019s ever seen in terms of detail and level of texture. Jeffrey also revealed that %u201C What you%u2019re walking into is going to be something that can%u2019t help but be excellent is a great feeling.” The show has captured the essence of characters like Joel and Ellie and all the others exceptionally. 

Jeffrey will take on the role of Perry, a new character who will be introduced into Naughty Dog%u2019s post-apocalyptic world and Gabriel Luna will take the reins as Tommy in the series

According to Jeffrey, Perry is %u201Cbrand new and part of a brand new branch that has huge implications for things that did occur in the game%u201D he also teased that his character%u2019s involvement %u201Cwill unveil things that attach to the game%u201D and make the game series make even more sense.

Pierce also recalled when he first read the script and added, I was excited about it but when I read the scripts I was like %u2018Jesus Christ Neil, this is just – it%u2019s perfect.'” He also said that Director Neil Duckermann and Craig are doing an amazing job at translating what was effective about the game into a real cinematic masterpiece, and he cannot wait to watch the show
