Kamala Khan’s reaction to meeting Nick Fury for the first time in The Marvels teaser trailer has gone viral among MCU fans on social media.

In the recently released 1-minute 56-second promo, viewers got a glimpse of Kamala Khan’s wholesome interaction with Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson. The young superhero, portrayed by Iman Vellani, is seen introducing Fury to her family in New Jersey, and their chemistry on-screen has caught the attention of fans.

The Marvels teaser trailer also showcases Kamala teaming up with Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, and Monica Rambeau, played by Teyonah Parris, as they switch places during combat due to the entanglement of their powers.

Monica Rambeau reveals her ability to manipulate light energy and is shown phasing through objects and blasting photon energy in the promo footage. Meanwhile, Kamala is transported to a distant place in space, fighting Kree alongside Goose, while Captain Marvel appears in Kamala’s home.

The teaser also features musical sequences showing the three superheroes dancing along with a horde of people on a yet-to-be-identified planet. It was earlier revealed that The Marvels will take place on a planet where they communicate through rhymes, and it was rumored that Park Seo Joon’s character is the leader of this planet.

Despite the excitement surrounding the upcoming film, The Marvels teaser trailer received backlash for featuring Mohan Kapur’s Yusuf Khan character, who was accused of sexual harassment allegations in December 2022. Fans hoped to see his role recast, though it remains to be seen if the theatrical cut would reduce his screen time.

With the release of The Marvels still months away, fans are eagerly anticipating more details about the highly anticipated film, which is set to hit theaters on November 10, 2023.
