The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is an adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkein’s works, produced by Amazon Studios, along with Harper Collins, New Line Cinema, Middle-earth Enterprises, and the Tolkien Estate. The plot will be covering events of the Second Age. Though it appears that the show is set in the mid-Second Age, characters from a much later period of the second age are also likely to appear. The two periods will merge into one to prevent a jump in time.
