Tom Sizemore has been admitted to the hospital in a critical state after suffering a brain aneurysm at his Los Angeles home on Saturday.

Charles Lago, his manager, told TMZ that Sizemore was hanging out at his home around 2 am when he collapsed into unconsciousness. It is not known who found Sizemore in that state but whoever did, called 911. An emergency unit responded at his home and transferred him to a local hospital. There, he was admitted to the intensive care unit in critical condition.

Tom Sizemore drug abuse

Sizemore has battled drug addiction since he was 15. After he was convicted in 2003 of domestic violence against his girlfriend, Heidi Fleiss, he was sentenced to seven months in jail and four months in drug treatment for repeatedly failing drug tests while on probation on March 25, 2005. He was also caught attempting to fake the urine test using a Whizzinator.

On May 8, 2007, Sizemore was arrested outside the Four Points Sheraton hotel in Bakersfield, California, for possession of methamphetamine, while still on probation for a previous drug conviction.

In a 2013 interview, Sizemore claimed that fellow actor Robert De Niro set him on the oath of sobriety after a stern interrogation. De Niro personally checked Sizemore into rehab. On January 5, 2019, in Burbank, California, Sizemore was arrested for misdemeanor drug possession of “various illegal narcotics.”

The violence got so escalated that they could not attend the premiere of Black Hawk Down.
