The trailer of “Sex and the City” sequel titled “And Just Like That…” has been released by HBO Max on Tuesday.   The show is back with original cast -Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Kristin Davis as Charlotte York and, Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes. However,  Kim Cattrall didn’t return for the spin-off. The show premieres on December 9.

The new trailer opens with Carrie speaking on a podcast, declaring, “The more I live, the more I find that if you have good friends in your corner, anything’s possible.” After a few shots of Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte hanging out and talking — a familiar image, despite their usual fourth friend missing — we get a glimpse into the set of new characters.

The series finds Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte navigating the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

Michael Patrick King, who served as showrunner on the original HBO series and wrote and directed both feature films, is the showrunner.

‘Sex and the City’ favorites Chris Noth, Evan Handler, David Eigenberg, Mario Cantone and the late Willie Garson also star, along with franchise newcomers Sara Ramírez, Sarita Choudhury, Nicole Ari Parker and Karen Pittman.

Parker, Nixon, Davis and King executive produce with Julie Rottenberg, Elisa Zuritsky and John Melfi.

The original series, created by Darren Star, ran from 1998 to 2004, showcasing the love lives of three women living in New York City.
