Peacock, NBC’s streaming service, has officially announced that it will be producing a live-action adaptation of the popular video game series, Twisted Metal. While the release date is yet to be confirmed, it is believed that the show is still in its early stages of development, with a tentative 2023 release date in sight.
Plot
The series will follow a “motor-mouthed outsider” on a mission to deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. In order to do so, he must team up with a trigger-happy car thief to survive the savage marauders who drive vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road. Along the way, they will encounter a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.

Release Date

Cast
