Virgin River fans can mark their calendars for September 7, 2023, as that’s when Season 5 of the series will make its highly anticipated debut on Netflix. But that’s not all! A special treat is in store for viewers, with a Christmas special scheduled for November 30.
Originally slated for a total of 12 episodes, Season 5 will have a slight twist: only the first 10 episodes will be available on September 7, while the remaining two will be unveiled as part of the festive Christmas special in November.
The confirmation of Season 5 came in 2021 when Netflix renewed the series for both its fourth and fifth seasons. In a noteworthy development, Patrick Sean Smith took over as showrunner last year, replacing Sue Tenney.
