Cody Longo, who was popular for playing Nicholas Alamain in the soap opera Days of Our Lives, has died. He was 34. As per his representative Alex Gittelson’s statement to The Hollywood Reporter, his body was found Wednesday in Austin, Texas.

Longo died in his sleep, Gittleson said, adding his wife Stephanie Clark’s statement: “Cody was our whole world. The kids and I are shattered and beyond devastated. He was the best dad and best father. We will always and forever miss you and love you.”

The cause of Longo’s death has not been confirmed yet.“Cody was a dear friend, going back many years before he was a client. My heart breaks for his amazing wife and beautiful kids. He had taken some time away from acting to pursue his music career and spend more time with his family in Nashville, but we had kept in touch regularly, and he was excited to get back into acting this year. Cody was such a loyal, loving and talented person, and he will be greatly missed,” his rep told The Hollywood Reporter.

The Days of Our Lives actor was reportedly arrested for domestic assault in November 2020 in Clarksville, Tennessee after he allegedly got into a fight with his wife Stephanie, while intoxicated. A family source told TMZ, in a separate report, that Longo was checked into a rehab for his alcohol abuse.

Cody Longo, as per police reports, allegedly came home drunk and accused his wife of cheating on him. He then pushed her face with his forearm and her jaw and neck were allegedly sore. There were no bruises. As per reports, he was booked into Montgomery County Jail on November 7, 2020, and then posted a $2,500 bond on November 10.

The actor told authorities that the accusations were false. He denied all allegations while talking to TMZ later.
