Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has made headlines for his controversial nude photoshoot for a magazine cover.
The ‘Gully Boy’ actor is being brutally trolled on social media, and now an NGO in Indore has organised a cloth donation drive for him in protest of his photoshoot.

A social organisation called ‘Neki Ki Deewar’ collected old clothes from people in an attempt to donate them to Ranveer Singh.
A video of the NGO collecting the clothing has also gone viral on social media.
The protesters have a box and a banner that says, “Mere Swachh Indore Ne Thana Hai, Desh Se Mansik Kachra Bhi Hatana Hai (Indore has decided to remove mental waste from the country),” according to Free Press Journal.

According to PTI, an application was filed with Mumbai Police on Monday seeking the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against Ranveer for “hurting the sentiments of women” through his nude photographs on social media.
An officer of a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in the east Mumbai suburb of Chembur filed the complaint at the Chembur police station.
According to the official, the complainant claimed that the actor had hurt women’s feelings and insulted their modesty through his photographs. The complainant requested that the actor be charged under the Information Technology Act and various sections of the Indian Penal Code.

“It’s so easy for me to be physically naked, but in some of my performances I’ve been damn naked,” Ranveer told Paper Magazine, for which the photoshoot was done. He added – “You can see my f**king soul. How naked is that? That’s being actually naked. I can be naked in front of a thousand people, I don’t give a sh*t. It’s just that they get uncomfortable.”
