Former Bigg Boss contestant and Indian actor Shehnaaz Gill turned 28 today. Many of her friends, family and fans took to social media to send her birthday wishes. Shehnaaz’s brother Shehbaaz also took to Instagram to share a video of her.

The minute-long video montage includes snippets of Shehnaaz’s moments on the reality show. Uploaded nearly 12 hours ago, the post has garnered more than 2,51,000 views and around 5,300 comments.

The caption reads, “Happy birthday my sister, without u I can proudly say that I am nothing. Love u bless u always rabb kre meri v umar tainu lage (may God give my long life to you).”

Fans took to social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram to share pictures and videos of the actor. Many fan accounts have also posted snippets of Shehnaaz and deceased television actor Sidharth Shukla. The duo shared great chemistry on reality television show Bigg Boss.

Shehnaaz recently went viral after her collaboration with singer Yashraj Mukhate, who created a remix out of one of her Bigg Boss moments. The remix, titled Boring Day, shows Shehnaaz having a monotonous day at the Bigg Boss house and discussing it with fellow contestant Arti Singh. The remix has garnered more than 9 million views on Instagram. Many social media users have created their own versions of the peppy track via Instagram reels.

Shehnaaz has over 10 million followers on Instagram.

On the work front, Shehnaaz last starred in the 2021 film, ‘Honsla Rakh’ alongside Sonam Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh.

The Punjabi actor rose to prominence after her relationship with Sidharth Shukla in Bigg Boss.

Shehnaaz will pay homage to Shukla in the Season 15 finale of the reality show. Shukla passed away last year at the age of 41 at Cooper Hospital, Mumbai, succumbing to a heart attack.
