Rock band Weezers – led by Rivers Cuomo, Brian Bell and Scott Shriner – performed for the striking writers outside the Paramount Studio on Wednesday.

Lead singer Rivers Cuomo was accompanied by guitarists Brian Bell and Scott Shriner outside the major movie studios on Wednesday as they gave a concert to all the writers who are in their ongoing protest for fair wages. The Writers Guild of America members surrounded the band as they performed their biggest hits including “Beverly Hills” and “Buddy Holly” from just outside the studio entrance.

“We wanna support you guys and do something fun,” Shriner told TMZ on their decision to show up and do a concert. Shriner claimed that his favorite TV show is Game Of Thrones, while Bell revealed that he’s a Succession fan.

Weezers’ performance for writers comes some days after Imagine Dragons showed their support for the strike with their own performance. Imagine Dragons lead singer Dan Reynolds and guitarist Wayne Sermon gave a show for all protesting writers outside Netflix headquarters in Los Angeles.

Previously comedian Pete Davidson was also spotted at the strike venue, serving free pizza to everyone. Adding to the support, late night show hosts Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver had arranged for free food. Writer, actress, and producer Mindy Kaling had also joined writers protesting outside the Paramount studio, voicing her support for fair wages.
