Jackson Mahomes, the younger brother of NFL star Patrick Mahomes, was accused of assaulting a 19-year-old male waiter at a bar in Kansas. He was also accused of forcibly kissing the 40-year-old female owner of the establishment.
The incident took place on Feb. 25 at Aspens Restaurant and Lounge. The owner, Aspen Vaughn, told local media that police are checking the CCTV footage from the evening to establish a case against Jackson.
Brandan Davies, a lawyer for Mahomes, denied the allegations.
“Jackson has done nothing wrong,” the attorney said, according to New York Daily News. “Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”
