Days before the 2023 Academy Awards, Rock finally opened up about receiving that backhand in his scathing Netflix special Selective Outrage while recalling the embarrassing incident.
Rock cracked jokes about the Pinkett-Smiths’ reported relationships, reminding his viewers of some harsh realities. Rock made fun of Jada’s liaison with August Alsina, a rapper friend of Jaden’s. He said, “Everybody knows I had nothing to do with that s**t.”
He went on: “For people that don’t know — everybody knows! — his wife was f**king her son’s friend, OK?
Where is August Alsina now?
Rapper August Alsina appeared to have found love once more in 2022, two years after his controversial relationship with Jada Pinkett Smith.
On the new season of VH1’s The Surreal Life, the Make It Home singer came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. The 30-year-old musician attributed his discovery of “a love that feels unlimited” to a man who was standing nearby named Zu.
He didn’t outright admit he was gay during the show, but he did explain and describe his connection with his alleged counterpart.
Twitter users, on the other hand, did what they do best and figured out who Alsina’s mystery bae was by looking up his social media accounts and identities. Online investigators claim that Zu is allegedly Alsina’s baby brother, but it is unknown whether the two are biological siblings.
