Since the release of “Deathly Hallows Part 2” in 2011, the ensemble cast of the Harry Potter series has diversified their careers, taking on roles in various films, television series, and even theatrical productions.
One Harry Potter cast member has undergone such a dramatic transformation that they are now unrecognizable, having left the film industry and faced a period of incarceration.
Despite facing a promising future after acting in one of the highest-grossing film series ever, at age 34 Jamie Waylett has not bagged any new acting roles since the wizarding world movies came to an end.
Instead, the actor has had a troubled and turbulent life, including a brush with the law.

He was conspicuously absent from the final two Harry Potter movies after encountering legal troubles in 2009. At that time, he was arrested for cultivating marijuana in his family’s residence and subsequently pleaded guilty to charges of cannabis possession and possession of a knife.
During these legal proceedings, Waylett was 20 years old and was ordered to perform 120 hours of unpaid community work as part of his sentence.
In 2012, he faced another arrest, this time for his involvement in the London riots that had occurred the previous year. He was charged with offenses including violent disorder, possession of an item with the intent to destroy or damage property, and receiving stolen goods. As a result, he was sentenced to two years in prison.
Following these legal issues, Jamie Waylett did not return to the world of acting. Instead, he has more recently made appearances on the personalized video platform Cameo.
Cameo is a platform where fans can pay their favorite celebrities to send them personalized video messages. On his Cameo page, the former actor offers video messages priced at £160 each, with an average duration of approximately one minute and 47 seconds.
Fans who have encountered his Cameo videos have expressed surprise at his changed appearance compared to his pre-prison days.
