Scottish singer Darius Campbell Danesh died at the age of 41. He was found unresponsive in his apartment. The cause of death is not known. 

“The local police department have confirmed that there were no signs of intent or suspicious circumstances. The cause of his sudden death is unknown at this stage while medical examinations continue.We ask that you kindly respect our wishes for privacy at this time whilst we come to terms with the tragic loss of our son and brother,” his family said in a statement.

Campbell Danesh married Canadian actor Natasha Henstridge in February 2011. The couple filed for divorce in July 2013 and it was finalized in 2018. The couple did not have any children together. 

Henstridge had been previously married to American actor Damian Chapa in 1995 and they divorced in 1996. She later dated American actor Liam Waite from 1996 to 2004. Henstridge and Waite have two sons together: Tristan River (born October 1998) and Asher Sky (born September 2001).

Tristan River Waite is an actor and is known for his role in Johnny Orlando & Mackenzie Ziegler: What If (2018). He is 23 years old.

His brother Asher Sky is 20 years old. He has been photographed with his mother attending several events.

Campbell Danesh had been a doting step-father to Henstridge’s children. In an interview, he had spoken out about their relationship being turbulent. He also said that they were on and off throughout their courtship.

“That relationship was certainly not without its ups and downs. Over the course of 12 years we broke up many times and had a period of six months apart,” he once told the Scottish Herald.

Campbell had finished third on ITV talent show Pop Idol in 2002  behind Will Young and Gareth Gates.
