Who are Michael Gambon’s children?

Michael Gambon has three sons, one with his wife, Anne Miller, and two with his girlfriend, Philippa Hart.

Fergus Gambon

Gambon married mathematician Anne Miller in 1962 when he was 22 years old. He was increasingly private about his personal life. They had one son, Fergus. He later became a ceramics expert on the BBC series Antiques Roadshow.

He grew up being surrounded by fame but decided not to become an actor like his father. Instead, he found his passion for ceramics and is now the Director of British Ceramics and Glass at Bonhams.

Fergus joined the Antiques Roadshow team back in 2004. He appeared as a ceramics expert and in 2016 came across what he said was one of the greatest findings in the show’s history, which was a doll’s house that dated back to 1705 and included the original dolls.

He said the item was impossible to value accurately. Later it was said to be worth more than £200,000 ($243,000).

Tom and William Gambon

Michael went on to have two children with Philippa Hart, who was 25 years younger than him. He was still married to Anne up until his death.

“It’s a very strange set of circumstances worthy of a film script in itself. But Michael is open with his wife and she accepts the second relationship, though there have been rows in the past,” the Sun reported.

Gambon and Hart met while working together on the set of Longitude, released in 2000, and have been together for over 20 years. In February 2007, it was disclosed that Hart was pregnant with Gambon’s child. The pair welcomed two sons, Tom born in May 2007, and William born in June 2009.
