Alice, one of the women who has accused Russell Brand of sexually abusing them during the height of his fame between 2006 and 2013, also mentioned that TV executives planned to remove female staff over the comedian’s alleged behavior.
The decision was reportedly contemplated by television executives with regard to shows helmed by Brand over fears that female staff would be “assaulted or harassed.” “Alice,” whose last name has not been revealed in a joint investigation published Saturday by the Times of London and Channel 4 Dispatches, has claimed that Brand groomed and sexually abused her when she was 16.
She recalled a work meeting either in late 2013 or early 2014, where Brand was pitched to host a television show when she later went on to work at Channel 4. However, concerns about his behavior were raised. Instead of taking the comedian off the show, television execs suggested taking female staff off the show, the woman reportedly recalled.

“The solution that was offered was that we would take the female staff off the crew — women that have worked hard to get into this industry — now can’t work on particular shows because of fear that they might be assaulted or harassed. I was in disbelief,” she said, according to the report.
Who is Alice?
Alice met Brand in 2006. At the time he was the host of Channel 4’s “Big Brother’s Big Mouth” and a BBC radio presenter.
Brand, who was aged 31 at the time, reportedly called the teen “the child.” He has been accused of assaulting Alice during their “emotionally abusive and controlling” three-month relationship, she said.
