Andrea Evans, a popular soap opera star, died at the age of 66 after a fight with breast cancer.
The actress gained popularity for portraying the vixen Tina Lord on ABC’s One Life to Live. She was also famous for quitting the show because the part attracted a stalker.
Andrea is survived by husband Steve Rodriguez and a daughter. Her husband Stephen Rodriguez is an attorney. She married him in 1998. In 2004, Evans and Rodriguez adopted a daughter named Kylie, who turned 18 last year.

The late actress marked the milestone with her daughter by getting matching tattoos, writing on Instagram at the time: ‘KAi and I got matching tattos for her 18th birthday! If you look closely mine has a k, hers has an a. Love my girl sooo much’.
At this time, not much is known about Steve Rodriguez’s age, educational history, or other aspects of his personal life. However it is known that Rodriguez is an attorney based out of Los Angeles.
Evans played Tina Lord in the serial opera Tina Lord from 1979 to 1981 and again from 1985 to 1990. PEOPLE Magazine dubbed Evans’ portrayal of Tina Lord as “Daytime’s Diva of Dirt.”
She performed the role of Patty Williams on The Young and the Restless from 1983 to 1984 in between appearances on the long-running program. She received a Daytime Emmy nomination three years after making a comeback on One Life to Live.
Evans abruptly left the show and her career after getting the nomination in 1987 after being approached by a stalker in the lobby of the soap opera’s studio in Manhattan.
