Lollapalooza has announced the lineup for their upcoming festivals in South America for March 2023. The festival will start in Chile from March 17 to 19, followed by Argentina from March 24 to 26, and will conclude in Brazil.  The lineup for the festivals in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina includes artists Drake, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, and the American rock band Blink-182

Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren is also scheduled to perform at the festival.

Who is Armin Van Burren?

Armin J.J.D. van Buuren is a Dutch DJ and record producer. He was born on December 25, 1976, in Leiden, Netherlands to Joep van Buuren and Marianne Verwaijen. After graduating from high school, he studied law at Leiden University, which he put on hold due to his flourishing music career but returned to complete his graduation in 2003.

While still in college, he began working as a DJ and in 1999, he met Dave Lewis, who introduced him as a DJ in England and the United States. His first success came with his track Blue Fear which was released in 1997. Van Buuren started his label Armind with United Recordings. His second release, Touch Me under the name of Rising Star, was signed to the Ministry of Sound in the UK even before its release.

Since 2001, he has hosted a weekly radio show called A State of Trance (ASOT) which is broadcasted across 84 countries on over 100 FM Radio Stations with a reach of nearly 80 million listeners.

His debut studio album, 76, was released in 2003 following which he recorded several acclaimed albums namely Imagine (2008), Mirage (2010), Embrace (2015), and his most recent album, Balance (2019). In 2014, he was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for his single This is What It Feels Like, making him the fourth trance artist ever to receive a Grammy nomination.

In 2018, Buuren married Erika van Thiel. They have two children – a daughter, Fenna, born in 2011, and a son, Remy, born in 2013.
