Cameron Blackmon, who is being reported as GloRilla’s driver, was allegedly arrested for gun possession while the rapper performed with Cardi B at New York City’s Irving Plaza on Wednesday night, TMZ reported, quoting sources.

TMZ Hip Hop, quoting law enforcement sources, reported that New York Police Department officers said that they observed a man named Cameron Blackmon set off a metal detector inside the venue. After investigation, they found the alleged driver had two semi-automatic pistols.

The entertainment website further added that he was arrested for criminal possession of a firearm, ammo and a switchblade. They also gave him a parking ticket for posting up in the neutral zone in front of Irving Plaza, where GloRilla performed.

Who is Cameron Blackmon?

Cameron Blackmon, as per iShot.com, has been charged with four counts of possession of a weapon, stopping, standing and parking in a prohibited space.

The website reports him as a 47-year-old male. He was taken into custody at the scene. There were no reported injuries as a result of this incident.

GloRilla was at Irving Plaza performing a scheduled concert, which went off without a hindrance. TMZ reported that the F.N.F. rapped brought out Brooklyn artists Lola Brooke and Cardi B, who joined Glo to perform at their hit song Tomorrow 2.

Currently, Glo is performing across cities on her Anyways, Life’s Great Tour, in support of her latest project of the same name. The rapper endured some drama while on her trek.

Earlier this month, the 23-year-old rapper had water splashed on her by a fan after she left an afterparty where she was reportedly supposed to perform but never hit the stage. A video that surfaced online, shows Glo and her team walking toward the exit when someone splashes the rapper and her entourage with what appears to be a clear liquid. One of Glo’s teammates starts to argue with a fan before they move along.
