Chrissy Teigen is an American model, television personality, social media sensation and author. Born in 1985 in Utah, she spent her childhood in Thailand and later moved to California. 

Chrissy Teigen started her career as a model on the game show Deal or No Deal. She gained prominence in her modeling career by working in advertising campaigns for brands like Gillette, UGG, and Billabong, as well as for her multiple appearances in the annual Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues.

Apart from being a model, she was the host of the show Model Employee. She was also featured on another Cooking Channel special, titled Chrissy Teigen’s Hungry. In October 2013, she appeared in her fiancee John Legend’s music video for the song All of Me. 

Over the years, Chrissy has also established herself in television. Her notable works on small-screen include co-hosting Lip Sync Battle and featuring as a food stylist in FABLife. Her passion for food saw her create her blog sodelushious.com. Her cookbook Cravings emerged as a New York Times bestseller.

Chrissy received many awards like Shorty Award for Best Celebrity, Teen Choice Award, Goodreads Choice Award for the best food and Glamor Award for the Influencer. 

She got married to John Legend in 2013, after dating for four years and the couple has two children. Chrissy is a philanthropist and she has donated $25000 to the non-profit March for our Lives. Chrissy and her husband John endorsed Elizabeth Warren during the 2020 Democratic Party presidential primaries and Joe Biden in the 2020 United States presidential election.
