Lollapalooza has announced the lineup for their upcoming festivals in South America for March 2023. The festival will start in Chile from March 17 to 19, followed by Argentina from March 24 to 26, and will conclude in Brazil. The lineup for the festivals in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina includes artists Drake, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, and the American rock band Blink-182.

American singer-songwriter Conan Gray is also scheduled to perform at the festival.

Who is Conan Gray?

Conan Lee Gray was born on December 5, 1998, in California. He spent the first few years of his life in Hiroshima, Japan before moving to California with his family. His parents got divorced when he was three years old. He moved twelve times during his childhood since his father was in the military. Gray settled in Texas during his pre-teens where he spent the rest of his teenage years before moving back to Los Angeles, California after being accepted at UCLA.  

He began his career at age 15 after creating his official YouTube channel. He uploaded baking videos and vlogs on his life in Texas. Gray has recorded music, art videos, and lifestyle vlogs on his channel.

In 2017, he self-released his debut single, Idle Town. After the release of a few more singles, his five-track EP, Sunset Season was released in 2018 and charted at number 116 on the Billboard 200. His debut studio album Kid Krow was released in 2020 to critical and commercial acclaim. The album debuted at number 5 on the Billboard 200 and became the biggest new artist debut of 2020. His latest album Superache was released in June 2022 and was praised for its themes that touched on childhood trauma, friendship, love, and abuse.

Gray has cited Taylor Swift as his biggest musical inspiration. He has also acknowledged artists like Adele, Lana Del Rey, and Lorde, stating their influence on his music style.

In an interview with GQ in 2022, Gray stated that he has never dated anyone.
