An arrest warrant has been issued for Smith in Illinois on suspicion of trying to meet a child for a sexual encounter. According to LCSO, Smith interacted with an undercover detective online for the past several weeks. While the officer was an adult, Smith interacted with her thinking that she was aged 15. He allegedly sent her explicit material of himself and then planned to meet up with the officer under disguise to engage in sex acts.

Connor Smith is an ex-reality show contestant who was prominently featured on AYTO in 2015. According to his AYTO bio, Smith was born on April 3.
On February 9, Smith is accused of driving to a meeting point where he allegedly scheduled to pick up the fake teen. When the Sheriff’s Office officers moved in to apprehend him, Smith successfully fled in his pickup truck. The very next day, a warrant was out for his arrest on felony charges of traveling to meet a minor, grooming, and disseminating harmful material.
His AYTO bio says, Smith is “from Tinley Park, Illinois, who believes he can find his soul mate. That was, until this “gentle giant” has had rape and sexual assault charges brought against him for what he “allegedly” committed against a 16-year-old. These unfounded charges were dropped and he was exonerated.”
