Haley Pullos of General Hospital has been sued over a car crash from her recent DUI arrest. A driver, Courtney Wilder, claims that it is the actor’s fault ‘he went to the hospital’, TMZ reported exclusively on Tuesday.
The Entertainment website cited a new lawsuit to reveal the driver’s name – Courtney Wilder – Pullos ran into. The General Hospital star had crashed her car last month while driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana.
Wilder, as per TMZ, said that he was driving behind Haley Pullos’s car as she went on the wrong way on a freeway offramp. He added that he did not have time to react when he saw headlights coming his way and crashed into the actor’s vehicle. The driver further went on to say that he was taken to the hospital and he blamed the General Hospital star for it.
On April 29, TMZ broke the story that Pullos was driving on a freeway in Pasadena when she abruptly changed to the other side – with oncoming traffic. She collided with another car. Police said that they searched the actor’s vehicle and found weed edibles and mini-bottles of tequila. She was arrested for felony DUI and was taken to a hospital.
The 24-year-old was driving the wrong way on State Route 134 at around 1:30 AM, CHP said. Authorities added that the Pasadena City Fire Department used the Jaws of Life rescue tool to free Pullos from her car.
The fire department also posted pictures of her wrecked car on social media. They initially did not name Pullos. They said that the ’cause is unknown but always a reminder to stay within the speed limit, avoid drinking and stay off your phone’.
