Dolly Parton has launched Doggy Parton, a dog accessory line that will sell doggy apparel, toys, and other accessories. Willa B. Farms, an animal rescue organisation, will benefit from the company’s profits.

Dolly Parton made the announcement on social media. She stated that her career began with her first album, Puppy Love, and that her love for pets is “stronger than ever” “six decades later.”

Dolly Rebecca Parton (born January 19, 1946) is a country music singer-songwriter, actress, philanthropist, and businesswoman from the United States. Parton made her album debut in 1967 with Hello, I’m Dolly, which led to success throughout the rest of the 1960s (both as a solo artist and with a series of duet albums with Porter Wagoner), before her sales and chart peak came during the 1970s and continued into the 1980s. She co-owns The Dollywood Company, which manages a number of entertainment venues, including the Dollywood theme park, the Splash Country water park, and a number of dinner theatre venues, including The Dolly Parton Stampede and Pirates Voyage, in addition to her work in the music industry. Dolly Parton has received fifty Grammy Award nominations in total, which is the second-highest number of any female artist in the illustrious awards’ history. She has won eleven Grammy Awards, including the 2011 Lifetime Achievement Grammy.

She is one of only six female artists (along with Reba McEntire, Barbara Mandrell, Shania Twain, Loretta Lynn, and Taylor Swift) to have won the Country Music Association’s highest honour, Entertainer of the Year (1978).
