Yungblud is an English rapper whose real
name is Dominic Richard Harrison. The 25-year-old is a singer, musician,
songwriter and actor. Yungblud is in the news after he performed at the New
Orleans Saints versus Miami Vikings NFL game
in England on Sunday.

Who is Yungblud?

Yungblud or Dominic Richard Harrison was
born on August 5, 1997 in Doncaster, South Yorkshire in the United Kingdom to
Justin and Samantha Harrison. The young rapper has two siblings – younger sisters
Jemima and Isobel.

Yungblud suffered from ADHD (attention
deficit hyperactivity disorder) at a young age and was a troublesome student at
school. Media reports say Harrison was suspended from his school, Ackworth
School, after he ‘mooned’ his math teacher. He later went on to study at the Arts
Educational Schools, London.

first found footing in the world of entertainment as an actor. He appeared in
the TV series Emmerdale and The Lodge.

Yungblud’s first rap album was titled King Charles. It released on April 7, 2017. His second song single was titled I Love You, Will You Marry Me, a song about a dark modern-day love story.

Yungblud’s next release was titled Tin Pan Boy, a song about a construction project on Tin Pan Alley, a music hotspot in London. 

Yungblud’s first album, released in July 2018, was titled 21st Century Liability. The album features the songs 21st Century Liability, Psychotic Kids, California, Medication and Kill Somebody. 

Yungblud released a music video titled Die a Little from the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack, which was a song about mental illness. 

Yungblud aka Dominic Richard Harrison was nominated for four NME awards — “Best British Solo Act”, “Best Music Video, “Best Solo Act in the World” and “Best Collaboration.”

Among his latest releases are Fleabag. The single charged at number 78 in the United Kingdom. Yungblud has also announced that he will be releasing a short film based on his 2020 song Mars.
