Who is Gracie Elliot Teefey?

Gracie Elliot Teefey is the younger daughter of Selena Gomez’s mother Mandy Teefay and stepfather Brian Teefey. Mandy and Brian welcomed Gracie in 2013 when Selena was 21 years old.

Speaking to E! News soon after Gracie’s birth, Selenz said, “I’m obsessed with her and becoming a big sister. I know I’ve had the responsibility to be a role model for girls but when you have a little sister of your own, you kinda think, Okay, this is legit.”

Despite the age gap, the Rare Beauty founder shares a very close bond with her sister. The two have made several read carpet appearances together. Selena has also shared several photos with Gracie on social media, referring to her latter as “forever her favorite human.”

Sharing a video with little sister on Instagram in 2017, Selena wrote, “I will forever let my sister know she is strong, bold and beautiful. She will be raised to know her voice matters. She is going to understand the importance behind being a leader and inspire others by her truth.”

In November 2019, the sisters posed together at the premiere of Disney’s Frozen 2 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

“Honestly, it was the coolest feeling. I said to her, ‘This is my favorite carpet I have ever done,'” Selena told during an interview on BBC One’s music show Sounds after the event.
