Rapper-Designer Kanye West is known for his public feuds. Very recently, the actor made headlines for donning a ‘White Lives Matter’ to Yeezy Fashion Show last monday. His actions drew criticism, one of the critiques being the Vogue editor, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. West did not take the criticism positively, and bullied the editor.

Hailey Bieber, American model and media personality came up in support of Johnson. In response to all of this, the rapper went to his Instagram and posted a lengthy message, addressing various celebrities like John Legend. Kanye West dragged Hailey’s husband Justin Bieber in the drama, and with a very misogynistic undertone, said ‘Justin get your girl before I get mad.’

Who is Hailey Bieber? 

Hailey Rhode Baldwin was born on November 22, 1996 in Tuscan, Arizona to American actor Stephan Baldwin and Brazilian graphic designer Kennya Deodato Baldwin. Her uncles: Alec Baldwin, William Baldwin and Daniel Baldwin are also actors. She is also Kim Basinger’s niece and Ireland Baldwin’s cousin. Her maternal grand-father is Brazilian singer and Grammy Award winner Eumir Deodato.

Baldwin grew up in New York, and completed her schooling and higher studies through homeschooling. She attended American Ballet Theatre in New York where she attained professional training in Ballet dancing. 

She focused on modelling afterwards, and got signed with Ford Models. She initially appeared for magazines like ‘Tatler,’ ‘Love,’ ‘V,’ and ‘i-D, and later appeared in her first promotional campaign for brand ‘French Connection’. In the year 2014, she made her runway debut when she walked for the brand ‘TopShot’. 

Since then Baldwin has ventured into the modelling industry and has cemented her name as one of the top models in the American fashion industry. She has worked for brands like Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Dolce & Gabbana.

Baldwin married Justin Bieber in September of 2018. The two had been best friends for quite a while before they wed. 

Her newest initiative is ‘Rhode Skin’, a skincare line which she launched on 17th June of this year.
