The Witcher season 4 will see a new lead actor play Geralt of Rivia. The fantasy series’ main character, played for three seasons by Henry Cavill, will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth, Netflix announced on Saturday. The Witcher: Blood Origin, a four-episode prequel series starring Sophia Brown, Michelle Yeoh, and Laurence O’Fuarain, is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on December 25. The third season is anticipated to premiere in the summer of 2023.

Who is Henry Cavill?
Henry Cavill was born on May 5, 1983, the fourth of five sons in a Roman Catholic household at Saint Helier, Jersey in the Channel Islands.
His mother, Marianne Dalgliesh, worked as a bank secretary. She was born in Jersey and is descended from Scots, English, and Irish ancestors. His father, Colin Cavill, was a stockbroker and was born in Chester, England.
He received his education at St. Michael’s Preparatory School in Saint-Saviour, Jersey, before enrolling in Stowe School in Stowe, Buckinghamshire.

A rugby match in 2000 acquainted 16-year-old Cavill to actor Russell Crowe, who was filming in Stowe for the movie Proof of Life. Later, the actor sent a gift to his boarding school after giving him some acting advice. Later, the two actors teamed up for the film Man of Steel.
Cavill is a British actor well-known for his roles as Charles Brandon in Showtime’s The Tudors, Superman in the DC Extended Universe, Geralt of Rivia in seasons 1 through 3 of The Witcher on Netflix, and Sherlock Holmes in the Netflix feature Enola Holmes.
Cavill’s portrayal of Superman in the DC Extended Universe superhero movies Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice League, and Zack Snyder’s Justice League helped him become a global superstar. Cavill was named the face of the British cologne Dunhill at the beginning of 2008. He appeared in two of the company’s television commercials.
In addition to serving as an ambassador for The Royal Marines Charity, Cavill is a spokesperson for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. He participated in the 2014 Gibraltar Rock Run to kick off the running portion of the Royal Marines 1664 Challenge.
From 2011 to 2012, he was engaged to English showjumper Ellen Whitaker.

Cavill started dating The Mandalorian actor Gina Carano in the fall of 2012. Although they broke up soon after, they started dating again in October 2013 and ended their relationship permanently in December 2014.
Cavill dated Kaley Cuoco in 2014 for just over a week before they announced their breakup in the media.
On the set of Mission: Impossible — Fallout in 2017, the Night Hunter actor got to know stuntwoman, Lucy Cork. Before secretly calling it quits, the couple dated for around a year.
Cavill made his relationship with Natalie Viscuso official in April 2021. At the premiere of Enola Holmes 2 in October 2022, the couple made their red carpet debut.
