Andrew Tate, controversial online influencer and
self-described misogynist, has been arrested in Romania on charges of human trafficking,
rape and running and organised crime group. He was detained along side his
brother and two other suspects. They would be detained for 24 hours,
prosecutors from the anti-organised-crime unit said in a statement after
raiding their properties in Bucharest.

Twitter after she replied to controversial social media personality Andrew
Tate, who boasted about his cars and their enormous emissions. After being publicly
mocked on social media, the 36-year-old didn’t take the insult well and shared
a video in response. In the video, he can be seen smoking a cigar in a silk
robe, as he questions Thunberg’s gender and goes on to insult her with hateful
comments.

Tate is not new to controversies. Earlier this year, he had
been banned from Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok for his misogynist
comments. He got his Twitter account back after Elon Musk acquired the
platform.

Who is Janine Tate?

Janine Tate is the younger and only sister of Andrew Tate. She
is the third child and only daughter of the late American international master
of chess Emory Andrew Tate Jr. Janine is a lawyer by profession. Currently, she
lives in Kentucky.

Janine also has another older brother, Tristan, who is a
kickboxer, commentator and businessman. Bother her brothers have described Janine
as a “feminist” in the past.

when Janine’s mother Eileen Tate ended her relationship with her father, Janine
moved to the United Kingdom with her mother and lived there for years before
shifting to Kentucky. Her father was an African-American and her mother is
British. Emory Tate was a five times US Armed Forces Chess Champion. He died on
October 17, 2015.
