Chennai Super Kings pacer Deepak Chahar on Wednesday married his long-time girlfriend Jaya Bhardwaj. His brother Rahul Chahar, who represented the Punjab Kings in IPL 2022, shared their picture on social media, congratualting the couple.

“Happy married life you too.. Soooo happy for you and all the good wishes .. wishing you an amazing married life. Loads of Love ❤️,” Rahul captioned the Instagram post.
Deepak Chahar had proposed Jaya Bhardwaj last year after Chennai’s loss against Punjab.
“Picture says it all. Need all your blessings taken,” he had captioned the post.
Who is Jaya Bharadwaj?
Jaya Bharadwaj, Deepak’s long-time girlfriend, is Bigg Boss and Splitsvilla fame Sidharth Bhardwaj’s sister.

Ahead of IPL 2022, ETimes TV reported that Deepak Chahar and Jaya Bharadwaj were planning to have a roka soon and are expected to get engaged after the season. Jaya travelled with the CSK player to the UAE. The report further added that Deepak introduced Jaya to the entire team.
Deepak Chahar is younger sibling of Bollywood model and actress Malti Chahar and elder brother of cricketer Rahul Chahar, who plays for the Mumbai Indians.

In January 2020, Chahar won an award of T20I Performance of the Year by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for taking six wickets for seven runs.

Hardik Pandya and actor-model Natasa Stankovic welcomed their first child. Lucknow Super Giants skipper KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty are also reportedly planning to tie a knot soon.
Chahar was boughy by CSK in IPL 2022 for Rs 14 crore. The pacer missed the initial part of the season with a quadriceps tear. He then suffered a back injury – ruling him out of the season.
