Jennifer Lopez announced her first album since 2014 on a special day.

The singer said on Friday that her upcoming album This Is Me… Now, which will highlight significant events from the past 20 years of her life, will be released in 2023. The announcement was made on November 25, 2002, the same day that her album This Is Me… Then was released.

Lopez, who had disappeared from social media in recent days and deleted all of her old Instagram photos, reappeared there on Friday to release a video in which the cover of her 2002 album is changed into one from the year 2022. The Marry Me performer, 53, hasn’t released an album since A.K.A. in 2014, and this is the first one she’ll create and produce after This Is Me… Then.

Jennifer Lynn Lopez, commonly known as Jennifer Lopez or J.Lo is an American actress and musician who has appeared in numerous television and big screen films over the course of her career.

Lopez was born to a family of Puerto Rican descent on July 24, 1969 in the Bronx in New York City, New York. She was attracted to the entertainment industry at a young age, taking dance lessons in salsa, merengue and bachata. She displayed an affinity for mainstream music like R&B, pop and hip-hop.

The famed singer and actress spent eight years at a Catholic school before moving to an all-girls prep school for four years. Lopez excelled as an athlete in track and field events and even played tennis.

She got her first break, when she played a small role in the film, ‘My Little Girl’ in 1986. When she reached the age of 18, she ran away from home to pursue her career in show business, as her mother didn’t approve.

When she ran away from home, Lopez worked at a law office to support her dream of becoming an actress. She got her first big break as one of the “Fly Girls” dancers on the hit comedy show, ‘In Living Colour’ in 1990. She quit the show two years later. In the years after that, she gound roles quickly and began doing films with many of the heavy hitters from the 90s like Robin Williams (Jack, 1996) and Jack Nicholson (Blood and Wine, 1997). Through the early 2000s and the late 90s she did a slew of movies.

In 1999, she turned her focus to music, releasing her debut album, ‘On the 6,’ which went on to go platinum, selling more than eight million copies around the world. Her second album, ‘J. Lo’ also did very well.

Through the course of her career she has had many relationships with high profile Hollywood big wigs like Ben Affleck and even married Marc Anthony, whom she later divorced. Lopez began dating Affleck once more in 2021 and recently the two married on July 16, 2022 in Las Vegas.
