According to Jeremy Renner’s spokesman, who spoke to Deadline on Sunday, the actor is in “critical but stable condition” with the injuries he sustained in a weather-related accident while plowing snow earlier in the day. 

The Mayor of Kingstown, a returning Paramount+ series, Hawkeye on Disney+, and the Avengers and Captain America movies, all star Renner, a two-time Oscar nominee

Who is Jeremy Renner? 

Jeremy Lee Renner was born on January 7, 1971. He is an American actor and musician.

In 1989, Renner graduated from Modesto’s Fred C. Beyer High School. He attended Modesto Junior College, where he majored in criminology and computer technology, before deciding to pursue acting after taking a theatrical class as an elective.

On January 13, 2014, Renner wed Canadian model Sonni Pacheco. They had a daughter together. However, their marriage was short-lived as Pacheco filed for divorce from Renner on December 30, 2014, citing irreconcilable differences.

Renner made his acting debut in the 1995 comedy National Lampoon’s Senior Trip as an underachieving student. Despite the negative reviews, he went on to make cameo appearances on the television shows Deadly Games and Strange Luck. He also had a small part in the television film A Friend’s Betrayal as Paul Hewitt’s friend.

Renner played the titular serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer in the 2002 film Dahmer. He garnered positive reviews for his performance and was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Lead Male. 

A 2003 music video for Pink’s song Trouble as a Bad Boy Sheriff featured him as well. Renner had roles in North Country, 12 and Holding in addition to his 2005 co-starring appearance in A Little Trip to Heaven alongside Julia Stiles and Forest Whitaker.

He portrayed the courageous bomb disposal specialist SFC William James in the 2009 film The Hurt Locker about the Iraq war. The movie garnered nine Oscar nominations and was one of the most acclaimed films of the year.

Renner played Hawkeye in an uncredited cameo as part of the 2011 film Thor in order to get audiences acquainted with him before the May 2012 release of The Avengers. He also starred in The Bourne Legacy, the fourth instalment of the Bourne franchise, in the same year.
