Johnny Depp is dating Joelle Rich, the lawyer who represented him during the Amber Heard libel trial in the UK. Rich, 37, is married and a mother of two – Darcy Grace and Aurora Giulietta. She’s currently separated from her husband but their divorce has not been finalized yet. Joelle married Jonathan Rich in July 2011, Magazine for Old North Londoners reported. 

Rich is a corporate financier and Director at Bluebox Corporate Finance Group, as per his LinkedIn profile. His company profile states Rich graduated with a BSc in Economics from the University of Birmingham, and his LinkedIn profile shows he then went to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, to become an Associate Chartered Accountant.

He joined PricewaterhouseCoopers, before transferring to their Corporate Finance department, where he worked for four years. Then, Rich went to Bluebox, where the company notes him leading “a number of successful transactions”. The company was founded in mid-2012 by Paul Herman and James Caan, one of the leading entrepreneurs in the UK. Its job is to provide expert advice and quality support to business owners on their way to selling their businesses. 

The couple’s wedding, which took place in Italy, made its way to Brides magazine. The lawyer said they’d decided on getting married in Florence as soon as they saw the synagogue. They got married in the Tuscan villa where the Helena Bonham Carter movie, A Room with a View had been filmed. She added that her wedding dress drew inspiration from her grandmother’s photograph. The solicitor recounted seeing her grandmother in a mermaid-style gown, in a photo from the 60s, and knowing she wanted something similar for her wedding. Joelle wore Vera Wang for her foreign wedding.

The lavish wedding was attended by nearly 290 guests, as per the lawyer, and she added a word of advice for brides. Joelle said to Brides magazine that there’s no need to worry about everything “going to plan” on that day. Instead, it is important to focus on the reason everyone’s present there – the two people getting married.
