After four Americas were kidnapped and two of them were killed by a Mexican cartel, a number of celebrities have come forward with their versions of having encountered the deadly gang in Mexico. One of them was rapper KaMillion.

She recently shared a video where she stated that she and her crew were in Mexico when a number of members of the Gulf Cartel stopped them as they were traveling on the road and threatened them to give everything they had.

She added: “They took 1,500 from the stylist and asked where’s the rest. I hid mine, but they kept asking for more. Scary stuff. Seeing the tragedies unfold in the media when I came back of people being killed, I feel so blessed.”

The trip was described by KaMillion as “the worst trip” of her life. After they got in touch with Mexican police, they learned that the notorious gang was linked to a cartel that kidnaps tourists for extortion. While responding to her Instagram Story, she advised everyone to avoid staying on an Airbnb in Mexico and declared she would never visit that country again.

Who is KaMillion?

KaMillion is famous for writing songs for well-known faces from the music industry. This includes Rihanna, Trey Songz, Keke Palmer, Samantha Jade, and others. She also made headlines after opening for the BET Hip Hop Awards with Lil Duval in 2019. She appeared in the third season of Love & Hip Hop: Miami much to the delight of her fans.

Her song Fine Azz was the theme song for the second season of A Black Lady Sketch Show.
