Indian actor and model Kanishka Soni is currently in the news for marrying herself. Born on August 16, 1987, the 34-year-old celebrated her birthday a day back and shared an image of herself with a mangalsutra (a necklace serving as a visual marker of a married Hindu woman), flaunting her sindoor (traditional vermilion worn by married women).
The actor announced she’s married to herself, adding, “since I fulfilled all my dreams my own & the only person I am in love with is MYSELF”. Soni continued, “I don’t need any Man Ever .. I am happy always alone & in solitude with my guitar”.
The Pavitra Rishta actor added, “I am the goddess , Strong & Powerful , shiva & Shakti everything is inside ME , Thank you”.

Soni is also known for her roles in Devi Adi Parashakti and for playing Daisa’s wife in the popular Indian television drama Diya Aur Baati Hum.
The actor was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and finished her education at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Shahibaug. She then got her Masters and Post Graduation diploma in finance from Mumbai University. Soni began her career in 2007 after she got selected as a reality show singer on Bathroom singer on Filmy Tv by Optimystix Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Despite her start as a singer, Soni’s inclination lay toward acting.

She got her break as a model on Akshay Kumar’s Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2 and with VJ Juhi in Exhausted on Channel V. Soni made her film debut with the Tamil movie Pathayeram Kodi, and then racked up performances in Devaraya and Yuvrajayam.
Soni has also appeared in several advertisements for brands like Huggies diapers. She’s been a part of long-running and popular Indian shows like Crime Patrol and CID. The actor has also appeared in many live show events alongside singers like Anup Jalota.
