Actor Song Joong Ki, best known for his portrayal of Yoo Si Jin, a South Korean soldier in the K-Drama Descendants of The Sun, is reportedly in a relationship with British actor Katy Louise Saunders.
Via Soompi, Joong Ki’s agency, issued a statement regarding the Reborn Rich star’s relationship status, saying that he is “currently seeing a woman with positive feelings,” adding that they hope that people will look “warmly upon their relationship.”

While the woman’s identity has been kept under wraps, speculations have already begun for who she might be. Initially suggested to be a non-actress, the case seems otherwise. Fans have alluded to Joong Ki’s speech after accepting the Daesang at Apan Star Awards. The actor thanked Katy, Narla, Maya, and Antes. Katy is the British actor Katy Louise Saunders. Upon checking some early Facebook posts of Saunders, it could be confirmed that Maya and Antes are her dogs.
Who is Katy Louise Saunders?
Katy Saunders is a British actor. She was born on July 21, 1984, in London. She has starred in several films, in lead and recurring roles. Her most recent film, WELCOME HOME, was released in 2018 where she starred alongside Hollywood’s A-lister Aaron Paul.
She is also known for starring in Los Borgia (2006), Third Person (2013) and The Lizzie McGuire Movie (2003).

Reports suggest that Saunders and Joong Ki met through mutual friends in 2021. The two have been together for quite some time, and Saunders has accompanied Joong Ki to various events such as ‘Reborn Rich’ overseas promotion.
Joong Ki was previously married to Descendents of the Sun co-star Song Hye-kyo. The two met on the sets in 2016, and soon after began a romantic relationship. They tied a knot on October 31, 2017 in a private ceremony at Youngbingwan, Hotel Shilla.
The couple announced their divorce three years later in 2019.
