Kelsey Hollis, Miss Georgia, on December 15, 2022, became the fourth runner-up of Miss America 2023.

Miss Georgia finished the pageant in the top position along with Miss Wisconsin Grace Stanke, Miss New York Taryn Smith, Miss Texas Averie Bishop, and Miss West Virginia Elizabeth Lynch. Kelsey, a Warner Robins native, won the social impact initiative scholarship worth $10,000.

Kelsey said, “Being able to represent the state of Georgia, definitely in itself is a blessing.”

“But I can say, because of the legacy in Warner Robins, whenever I tell people I am from Warner Robins, they say wait Betty Cantrell is from there or Olivia McMillan is from there. I feel like I am a part of a prestigious legacy,” she added.

Who is Kelsey Hollis?

Kelsey Hollis is a 22-year-old who is a native of Warner Robins, Georgia, USA. She is currently studying at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has also worked with VFL Films and SEC Network. She won the title of Miss Georgia in June 2022.

Kelsey is also the director and founder of a beauty pageant for ‘Miss Queen of Summer’. This pageant recognizes and honors girls in middle school and high school with disabilities.

She has a brother with an autism spectrum disorder which causes difficulty in understanding how people feel. Due to this, Kelsey at an early age was focused to work for disabled people and their families.

She also started an initiative of social impact named Autism Acceptance: A Platform for Change. This initiative has been expanded to an educational level.

According to the reports, she has also managed to raise more than $10,000 for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals. Apart from that, Hollis has also worked with organizations like Fluffy friend 3C, Preemie Closet, Navicent Health and Autism Speaks, and many other social firms.

She also helped the state lawmakers and supported the passage of SB118, Ava’s law. The law has been passed and aims at providing annual insurance coverage of almost $35,000 for ASD-diagnosed people in Georgia to have their counselling done.

After finishing Miss America 2023 as the fourth runner-up, she now plans to pursue sports psychology.
