The Office and Detectorists actor Mackenzie Crook has made a public plea for assistance in locating his sister-in-law Laurel Aldridge, 62, who was last seen on Tuesday. Aldridge resides in West Sussex’s Walberton neighbourhood, close to Arundel. Mackenzie Crook is married to Lindsay Crook.

The 51-year-old actor expressed concern for Aldridge, whom he called a “great mother” and who was “usually very happy,” saying that his family was “very worried” about her.

She skipped a chemotherapy appointment on Tuesday, and her family has not yet seen or heard from her since.

“It’s incredibly difficult. She is in quite a vulnerable position at the moment. She missed a chemotherapy session on Tuesday, so we’re really worried about her. There were reported possible sightings of her as far north as Bignor Hill, but we’ve discounted those and we think she is very much in the local Walberton area,” Crooks told BBC Radio Sussex.

Who is Lindsay Crook, ‘The Office’ actor Mackenzie Crook’s wife? 

Lindsay Crook is a Muswell Hill, London-based former advertising executive.

In 2001, Mackenzie Crooks married Lindsay Crooks. They have 2 children Jude Michael Crook and  Scout Elizabeth Crook. Lindsay has a sister named Laurel Aldridge and a brother-in-law named Zoe Crook.

Mackenzie Crooks, her husband, whose real name is  Paul James Crook is a well-known British actor, director, comedian, and writer. He is best known for his roles as Gareth Keenan in The Office, Ragetti in Pirates of the Caribbean films, and Orel in the Game of Thrones” television series.
