Punjabi singer-rapper and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district on Sunday evening. Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for Sidhu’s murder in a Facebook post. A day after the 28-year-old’s death, several reports are doing the rounds, claiming that prominent Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh is on the gangster’s hitlist.

According to a Times of India report, in April 2022, Mankirt Aulakh received death threats from the Davinder Bambiha gang members, who are associated with gangsters Godly Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. After receiving threats, the 31-year-old was asked to increase his security cover.
