Miss Argentina Mariana Varela and Miss Puerto Rico Fabiola Valentin announced their marriage on Wednesday. The duo was crowned pageant queens in 2020. The couple posted multiple videos on Instagram including a proposal video and a wedding video and they announced to their followers that the wedding took place on October 28, 2022.

The Instagram post read, “After choosing to keep our relationship private, we open our doors to a special day. 28/10/22”.
Who is Mariana Varela?
Mariana Valera, actor and model, was born on June 26, 1996 in Argentina. She was raised in Cordoba, Argentina and she earned a degree in Journalism from the National University of Avellaneda.
From her early childhood, she was interested in pursuing a career in modeling.
Mariana Varela and Fabiola Valentin became friends after meeting in the Miss Grand International 2020 beauty pageant. They married on October 28, 2022.

Mariana Varela’s Career
She started her career by modeling for various brands. In 2019, Varela won the Miss Universo Argentina 2019 and she also represented Argentina at the 2019 Miss Universe competition.
Varela relinquished to Miss Grand Argentina 2020 after giving up her position as Miss Universo Argentina 2019. The pageant was held in Bangkok, Thailand, where she represented her nation. She was also placed among the top 10 alongside representatives from Thailand, the Czech Republic, Malaysia, Puerto Rico and Thailand.

After winning the pageant in 2020, she and her partner Rico Fabiola Valentin were hired by multiple modeling agencies to work together.
On March 27, 2021, she competed as Miss Grand International 2020 for Argentina at SHOW DC in Bangkok, Thailand. She competed against 62 other contestants and she was placed in the tenth position and the pageant title was won by American model Abena Appiah.
