Melissa Klapper, a history professor at Rowan University, is now a two-time “Jeopardy!” champion.

The professor at the College of Humanities & Social Sciences successfully defended her title on the show on Tuesday, March 21, after winning the game show’s championship on Monday, March 20.

“Jeopardy!” is hosted by Ken Jennings and airs on ABC every weeknight at 7 p.m.

Who is Melissa Klapper?

Klapper is a lifelong educator who earned her bachelor’s from Goucher College and her PhD from Rutgers University. On Tuesday’s performance, Klapper took home $17,599. This brought her two-day winnings to $42,400.
