Randy Fenoli, the star of Say Yes to the Dress got engaged to his partner of one year Mete Kobal on Saturday, at the Marmara Park Avenue hotel in New York City.

“I’m so in love,” Fenoli told People Magazine. “Every day I’m giddy. And every day just gets more amazing. It really does. It’s easy. It’s nothing what I thought a relationship was and nothing like I’ve ever had in the past. It’s unbelievable.”

Who is Mete Kobal?

Not much is known about Kobal, except the fact that he is originally from Turkey. As a result, Fenoli wanted to make sure that people close to his partner could be present to witness their special moment.

“I got in touch with one of his best friends and got all of his best friends’ email addresses,” he reveals. “We set up a monitor so all his friends in Turkey could join us on Zoom.”

Fenoli also made sure to pay tribute to Kobal’s heritage at the engagement party by arranging a specialty food station that just had Turkish food.

The pair apparently connected in January this year at the Marmara, where Kobal was working as the restaurant and bar manager. They started dating and have been together ever since.

According to his Instagram bio, Kobal is into dogs, books, music, and photography. He also has a YouTube channel where he has posted a limited number of videos, all which vary in theme.

Kobal has posted a number of photos with Fenoli on social media, including snaps from some sort of a burlesque-themed party where both of them wore elaborate costumes and jester masks. He also has photos of his dog as well as events he has attended with his now-fiance.
