LoveOnTourReggioEmilia was a night for fans and the music industry, as Harry Styles took the stage to deliver a performance. But amidst the excitement and cheers from the crowd, there was one moment that stood out – Harry’s introduction of his collaborator and friend, Mitchell Rowland. With a smile, Harry exclaimed, ”One last time, Mitchell Rowland everybody,” before allowing Mitch to shine with a solo performance.

When the words “One last time, Mitchell Rowland everybody” echoed through the concert venue, Twitter immediately erupted with a mix of emotions and speculations. The fans, affectionately known as the “Harry Styles fandom,” were caught off guard, unsure of the true meaning behind Harry’s introduction.

Among the tweets, one user wrote, “what do you mean Harry… I’m hoping he just means it’s the last show not that it’s Mitch’s final show.”

The uncertainty surrounding the announcement fueled anxiety among fans who adored both Harry Styles and Mitch Rowland. Another fan chimed in, saying, “I can’t handle the thought of it being Mitch’s final show! He’s such an incredible musician, and he’s been with Harry from the beginning. I hope it’s just the last show of the tour!”

Last week, Mitch shared the announcement of his debut album, “Come June.”

The album, set to release on October 6, showcased Mitch Rowland’s evolution as an artist. Having moved to Los Angeles in 2013, Mitch had been working as a dishwasher at a pizza joint before destiny came knocking at his door. The opportunity to write with Harry Styles led to a partnership, resulting in hits like “Meet Me In The Hallway,” “Watermelon Sugar,” and “Golden.” Mitch’s musical creativity perfectly complemented Styles’ vision, making their collaboration a winning formula.

Who is Mitchell Rowland?

Mitchell Alexander Rowland, widely known as Mitch Rowland, is an accomplished American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a significant presence in the music industry. He gained prominence as a touring guitarist and co-writer for the renowned pop artist, Harry Styles, contributing to all three of Styles’ successful solo albums. Apart from his collaboration with Styles, Mitch has been exploring his own musical journey, which recently culminated in the announcement of his debut album titled “Come June.”

Mitch Rowland’s musical journey began in the city of Dublin, Ohio, where he grew up just outside of Columbus. He developed a passion for music early on and played in the jazz band during his high school years at Dublin Coffman High School. After attending the University of Cincinnati, Mitch played drums for an indie rock band called Lionel the Jailbird. Subsequently, he was part of the band Total Navajo alongside audio engineer Ryan Nasci.

However, it was a fortuitous twist of fate that led Mitch Rowland to become associated with the global sensation Harry Styles. When an audio engineer was unable to make it to a recording session for what would eventually become Styles’ debut album, “Harry Styles,” Ryan Nasci, who was also roommates with Mitch at the time, recommended him for the gig. Despite never having been in a studio before, Mitch seized the opportunity and contributed significantly to the album, co-writing and playing guitar and percussion for nine songs, including Styles’ hit single “Sign of the Times.”

This collaboration laid the foundation for a fruitful musical partnership between Mitch Rowland and Harry Styles. He subsequently joined Styles as the lead guitarist for the “Harry Styles: Live on Tour” concerts, showcasing his impressive musical skills on stage. The duo continued their creative journey, and Mitch co-wrote several songs on Styles’ second album, “Fine Line,” including the acclaimed single “Golden.”

One of the standout moments of their collaboration was the psychedelic-influenced song “She,” featuring an enthralling guitar solo played by Rowland. This exceptional guitar performance received praise from music critics and fans alike for its unique and captivating sound.
